Origin
Stone from world-class quarries across the Mediterranean and beyond. Each region surfaces every available bundle from local producers and the FOB routes to port.
Stone origin shapes everything about a slab: aesthetic identity, supply consistency, freight cost. A Carrara stone quarried in Tuscany ships from Genova. A travertine from Denizli loads at Aliağa or Mersin. An onyx from Iran may move through a Turkish port for re-export. Each region has its own quarrying season, port options, and consolidation costs.
We list only regions where at least one verified producer currently has marketplace inventory. Click into a region to see the stones characteristic of that area and the FOB routes available to port. The same stone family can come from multiple regions, and the regional page makes that distinction explicit.
For freight calculation, the region drives FOB origin. When you build a quotation our pricing engine groups your bundles by region, calculates the minimum container count given weight and footprint, then computes both FOB at origin and CIF to your destination port using the lanes we maintain in-system. If you have a destination port and a buyer brief, browsing by region is sometimes faster than browsing by stone.
